What Is an API and Why Does It Matter?

In simple terms, an API lets your software talk directly to IndustrySelect. Instead of logging in and manually moving data from one place to another, your CRM, ERP, marketing automation platform, or custom application can connect directly to our database and retrieve the data it needs automatically.

The IndustrySelect API lets your systems search, retrieve, and sync company and executive profile data without manual exports, without third-party connectors like Zapier, and without interrupting your existing workflows.

What You Can Do With the API

The IndustrySelect API is built to handle a wide range of integration and enrichment use cases. Here is what it supports:

• Search for companies by name, phone, address, website, brand, contact name, and more.
• Retrieve full company profiles including executive contacts, based on your subscription access level.
• Submit batch requests using lists of Company IDs or Contact IDs and receive full profiles in return.
• Build targeted lists using criteria including state, ZIP code, area code, SIC, NAICS, employee size, sales range, square footage, ownership type, headquarters status, and recently added or updated records.
• Choose your profile depth and preview profiles for fast list review, or full profiles for deeper CRM and ERP enrichment.
• Sync data automatically into your systems without manual intervention or third-party middleware.
